Equilac is used mainly for the chronic skin disease psoriasis. The skin normally renews itself once every four weeks but if you are a psoriasis patient this happens once a week. This means that the cells of the epidermis come to the skin surface much quicker, and are therefore not disposed of. Factors such as disrupted intestinal bacteria, reduced immunity, injuries, pressure points, psychological stress, alcohol, medication, infections, metabolic diseases, hormonal factors, etc. play a part in this.

Psoriasis

Eczema
Eczema is a local skin inflammation, and it is one of the most common skin disorders. Most eczemas cause itching. Other symptoms include redness, flaking, lumps and follicles. Eczema can have a number of causes and occurs in different forms. Eczema with red, flaky areas is dry eczema. In the case of wet eczema, the follicles will burst. It is difficult to cure eczema, but flaring-up can be prevented and complaints (e.g. itching) can be reduced by using Equilac.

Acne
Acne is an inflammation of the sebaceous glands in the skin. It occurs mainly in areas where there are many sebaceous glands, such as the face, upper back, upper arms, chest and neck. In order to treat acne, the skin should be cleaned properly - but carefully - with a mild soap or water. For optimum results, Equilac capsules can be taken to combat acne from the inside.

General
Equilac can be used not only for skin disorders, but also for stomach and intestinal complaints, to improve resistance, to support general health, and for metabolic disorders and allergies.
